CELEBRATING OUR 150th READER GIVEAWAY

About Me

My photo
I have collected incredible amounts of cross stitch magazines in my over 30+ years of cross stitching. I enjoy knitting, crocheting and cross stitch. In May 2011 I decided to make my dream of sharing my love of needlecrafts a reality and started the online shop, The Stitcher's Market along with hubby. My biggest hope is to pass on my love of stitching to my children. Let's face it, some one has to inherit all my stash. I am shy, but I truly appreciate everyone's comments and friendship. I am glad to help anyone who needs any stitching information. I love to have giveaways and share other bloggers giveaways, so please stop by often. Enjoy your stay!

French Flair

Sweet Juliette

Brooklyn Bridge on rainy day

So here I am with all love of my French things more than renewed. Yes, I am still posting from bed.

If any of you play Farmville on Facebook, you will know that right now there is a French Provincal celebration going on and we can buy French items for our farms. Well, enough said, because I went and purchased many things. Now, I have a French Provincal Flair on part of my farm. You can see it by going to this link.

These days I am feeling a lot better. I think that finally my hard head has learned that walking must be kept to a bare minimum. My left leg is doing much better. There is less pain when I move it. (Remember that my daughter LOVED to sit on the nerves leading to that leg? Well, they are healing.... it takes a long time for those nerves to heal.)

I am off the blood pressure medicine and that is a huge relief. My blood pressure has gone back to normal and it is a happy event. Now, I just wait for everything else to heal. My back hopefully will get better first, since it took three attempts at a spinal block to get it in. OUCH! Yup, I feel that after walking 1/2 an hour.

Working on getting one trade in the mail and hopefully stitching an Easter item for Juliette. I am looking at Just Nan's "Dewdrop".
Other than that, nothing else is going on here. We have had LOTS of rain and more rain. It seems that if we are not getting rain, we are getting snow. There were 2 days of just beautiful weather, but I slept through those :(
Wishing everyone Spring stitches.......
