About Me

My photo
I have collected incredible amounts of cross stitch magazines in my over 30+ years of cross stitching. I enjoy knitting, crocheting and cross stitch. In May 2011 I decided to make my dream of sharing my love of needlecrafts a reality and started the online shop, The Stitcher's Market along with hubby. My biggest hope is to pass on my love of stitching to my children. Let's face it, some one has to inherit all my stash. I am shy, but I truly appreciate everyone's comments and friendship. I am glad to help anyone who needs any stitching information. I love to have giveaways and share other bloggers giveaways, so please stop by often. Enjoy your stay!

Weight Lost

Remember that I was trying to lose weight before I became pregnant? Well, today I went for one of my post-partum doc visits. I lost 32 lbs since delivering 9 days ago. For my European friends, that is 14.54 kilograms in 9 days. All toxins and water. I can wear one of my rings again. Hopefully in a few days I will be able to wear my wedding band too.

As for me, I am starting to get inspired to stitch again. I really didn't feel well while pregnant to stitch and knit. Right now I am on my way to being myself again.

I thank all my blog followers for sending me supportive emails all throughout my pregnancy. You are the best!!

Loving stitches to all....

Baby Modelling Cupcake Hat

Three pretty hats knitted by ME

Baby modelling "cupcake hat" knitted by ME

I am so thrilled that it fits her so well. The green and blue striped hat makes her look like a Disney Fairy. Couldn't take a picture of her in it because she was getting a cranky look on her face. I can't help taking pictures of her she is so beautiful. Pictures do not do her justice.

Soon, I will start knitting and stitching again.

Beautiful stitches ......

She has arrived!!!

Our little angel is here. DS, who is my "Angel of Joy" has nicknamed her "Angel of Angels" so you know he loves her madly.

She looks like a Snow Queen. Here is a picture of what Central Park looked like the day she was born.
